Communion is a close-knit, invitation-led community of accomplished entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals, thinkers and changemakers from diverse walks of life, brought together by a shared belief in the power of collective wisdom, meaningful relationships and continuous personal growth.

Founded by Sandeep Mall, Communion was conceived as a platform where like-minded individuals could share their knowledge, experiences, ideas and perspectives, learn from one another and contribute to each other’s journeys. It brings together people who have achieved much in their respective fields, yet remain curious, open to new ideas and willing to learn beyond their own areas of expertise.

The idea behind Communion is simple: to create a community where people can share, seek, inspire, guide and help one another grow.

What makes Communion special is the diversity of its members and the spirit in which they engage. It is a space where professional achievements are respected, but titles and hierarchies take a back seat. Members share their successes and failures, exchange perspectives, seek solutions, explore opportunities and draw upon the collective experience of the group. The Growth Retreat

An integral part of Communion is The Growth Retreat, its flagship annual gathering, where members come together face-to-face for a few days of immersive learning, meaningful conversations, shared experiences and personal reflection.

First held in 2022, the Growth Retreat has completed four editions, bringing together some of India’s most respected minds and distinguished personalities, including Dr. Ram Charan, Padma Vibhushan Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Sunitha Krishnan, Amol Palekar, Prasoon Pandey and several others from the worlds of business, science, innovation, sports, social impact and the creative arts.

Through engaging talks, fireside chats and interactive discussions, the retreat offers members an opportunity to learn directly from extraordinary journeys, challenge their thinking and gain perspectives beyond their professional worlds.

Equally important are the experiences beyond the formal sessions. Conversations over chai, informal interactions, shared meals and spontaneous discussions allow members to connect at a more personal level. It is often in these unplanned moments that some of the most valuable exchanges take place and lasting friendships are formed.

Beyond the Retreat

While the Growth Retreat provides an opportunity for the community to meet in person, Communion continues throughout the year through the exchange of ideas, knowledge-sharing, mentoring, collaborations and genuine support among members.
